Horrible Cyberbullying in Cyberworld

Created by Er Eileen

Nowadays, we all can’t do without smart phones with the rapid development of science and technology, there are also many unknown new threats, such as cyberbullying. Campus bullying is no longer a traditional face-to-face bullying, but a new channel of “Internet“, which has evolved into cyberbullying. Now let me take you to know what cyberbullying is?

What is cyberbullying

Cyberbullying refers to the dissemination of false information, harassment and attacks on specific groups of people. Due to the anonymity and rapid spread of the network platform, commonly known as “keyboard man“, slanders and insults others with lightning speed, and harms the reputation and personality of the bullies. As long as the “words” used by the other party make me feel unhappy at the first sight, I can take a screenshot and call the police as evidence!

Impact on victims

You may think that these negative words are very small things. Everyone is saying them everyday, but when the sender makes any speech, he must think from the perspective of the victim. If the other party will feel unhappy, you are breaking the law! Just as the physical injury may gradually improve after wound healing, the mental injury caused by Internet bullying will last for a long time, and may even cause the post-traumatic stress syndrome of the bully.

The Most Painful News for Me

I’ve been paying attention to K-pop stars 8 years ago. My favorite K-pop groups are BigBang, F(x), Girl Generation, BTS, etc. I’ve always appreciated Sulli’s daring to be herself. Her talent is also deeply attracted to me when she was still in F (x).

The news that shocked me recently is the death of Sulli, After quitting the k-pop, Sulli changed her pure image. Her bold and open style was repeatedly attacked by keyboard man. Although she had repeatedly reported this to the company and hoped to manage and suppress the bad comments, the company did not face her request. She spoke for herself in front of the camera and mentioned that keyboard man judge her through coloured-spectacles. She was not the person you imagined, but did not get it to sour people’s empathy, eventually become the victim of network bullying.

To some extent, what really killed her was the internet mob who hide behind the keyboard and maliciously criticized and attacked, and played up Sully’s behavior on social media. Not only South Korean stars will be bullied by the Internet, but also many people will choose to commit suicide in the face of the vicious attacks of the Internet. It can be seen how terrible the killing power of Internet bullying is!

How to protect ourself?

1. You can keep the evidence for the first time, such as keeping the anonymous account name of the other party, content screenshot, archive, recording, etc.

2. Never respond and block them.

3. Ask for help from your friends and family.

Conclusion

The text should have been a very beautiful work of art. Its appearance inherits the wisdom of countless ancestors, but the other side of the beauty also hides a sharp blade. Freedom of speech, of course, you can choose to scold others. In the same sentence, think about their mood and situation!

How can we make a choice in the Internet world behind the computer screen?

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
